Applications
The gradient tube furnace, known for different temperature zones in one unit, is extensively used in diverse scientific and industrial settings. Crucial for material synthesis, it enables the creation of materials with unique properties. It’s also vital in heat treatment, altering material microstructure for industries like metallurgy and semiconductor manufacturing. In quality testing, it assesses material behavior under varied temperatures, crucial in aerospace and automotive industries. In ceramics production, it provides high temperatures and precise heating control. Beyond practical applications, it’s instrumental in research and development, allowing experiments under varied conditions. In essence, its unique design and versatility make the gradient tube furnace an invaluable tool in various settings.
standard features
- Each temperature zone of gradient tube furnace operates independently, equipped with its own temperature control system. This allows the formation of varied gradient temperature fields through appropriate adjustments.
- The stove’s outer casing is made of Q235 low carbon steel, featuring electrostatic and corrosion resistance on the surface. It has a sturdy metal frame shell structure, with a low furnace surface temperature.
- The chamber is insulated with alumina ceramic fiber for maximum temperature stability and uniformity, as well as low energy consumption.
- High-quality heating elements provide excellent temperature uniformity, offer fast heat-up and cool-down rates, and ensure unsurpassed temperature uniformity along the entire heated length.
- The temperature control is precise, with minimal temperature fluctuations. It includes temperature compensation and calibration functions, with an accuracy of ±1℃.
- Heating rate of gradient tube furnace is 1-25℃/min, a suggested 15℃/min heating rate for a long service life.
- An intelligent microcomputer-based self-tuning PID temperature controller, with SCR/SSR control, can set the heating curve and program 4 groups of 32 segments for program heating, program heat preservation, and program cooling.
- The ends of the furnace tube are equipped with stainless steel metal flanges, with high-temperature PTFE gaskets, which can work under vacuum, with a vacuum degree ≤5pa (vane vacuum pump).
- There are gas inlets and outlets at both ends of the flange. The pressure gauge is installed on the metal flange. The precision needle valve can adjust the amount of gas intake and exhaust, and can pass in protective gases such as nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen.
- The device features a circuit breaker that trips automatically during a leakage or short circuit, safeguarding both equipment and operators.
- The furnace emits an alarm signal and automatically protects when overheated or when the thermocouple breaks during the working process.
- The integrated design of the furnace cover enables easy sample placement and quick cooling.
- A variety of tube diameters and heating lengths can be adjusted and customized to accommodate the different physical or chemical requirements of a process.
